As mentioned earlier from the previous post,
we started joining bazaars since we were on our sophomore year. We
experienced bazaars at our college and also some Christmas bazaars but
nothing compares to the bazaar we joined for our Business Practicum
class. It was a one month bazaar in Robinson's Galleria where in we were
required to set up and pack up our booth each day. It was like we were
actually working as an employee. At first, it was hard for us to adjust
with what we are doing, it really involved discipline. In the end, all
our hard work paid off since we earned money and also the experience we
learned was priceless.
We gained a lot of experiences here in Robinson's Galleria. We felt like we actually have our own business running in the mall. We are treated same as the other tenants, following the same rules and regulations, mall policies and their SOPs. It was really difficult considering our midterms weeks is scheduled at the opening of Entrep Corner in Galleria. And staffing was a problem because all of us have the same class and we had to make shifts. We asked people to fill in for us and help us in the business. Luckily, we got through that problem. It's just a matter of how you act, your attitude towards it and just how you manage everything. From business to other people. You need to apply everything you learned, experienced to whatever you doing. This practicum served as a test for all of us.
